BOO! It's Baby's 1st Halloween so she's dressing the part! Tia Maria and Uncle Julian sent her this costume aaaall the way from England. It was a bit difficult dressing Mia, since there were only press studs on the bottom of the outfit and none down the side to make it easy. I ended up putting her feet through the neck and shimmying her down, hehe.
Ta dah!! It's a baby pumpkin! Mia's still so little, you can see that her feet end just where the babygro's footsie part begins :-)
After 2 minutes she wasn't having any of it and wanted mom to stop taking pics and give her a cuddle. Her cousins in San Ignacio are having a Halloween party tonight, complete with spooky cakes and a pumpkin piñata!! Mia hopes that they will take lots of photographs, and that they will have another party next year when she's big enough to stick her hands in the cake and wreck it. She's wondering what costumes her cousins Dion, Jules and Cole are wearing this year and wants to see photographs!!
After hanging garlic above our door to ward off vampires, Mia and I will be watching cheesy Halloween-themed tv all night, like the History of Vlad the Impaler or pumpkin carving on Food Network.
