Operation 3 Kings: Part 2

Stars...

Better late than never!

Mia has just started sleeping in long spurts of 5 hours, so I'm now able to get down to the business of making a few ornaments. Since I didn't finish in time for Christmas, I'll give these away as "three kings" gifts on the 6th January. The shapes will be trees (already finished), stars, boots and teddy bears and they'll all have the same theme of patchwork and buttons. I'll do the stars tomorrow night!

My First Ham!

I cooked a ham leg for the first time and it came out quite well. We had fried ham and eggs for Boxing Day breakfast, mmmm!

I put a Bonnet on it

Here's Miss Lady modeling a bonnet that I discovered amongst the clothes that cousin Marielena gave her.

The "fish lips" pose...it says don't mess with me, I'll gum you and drool you for good measure!

The classic supermodel pucker which I think accentuates her chins quite masterfully...

Then lastly a casual look. Notice how she only reveals the promise of teeth without exposing the entire gumline. Magnificent!

Snot Bubble!

I bet you can't blow a snot bubble as big as this! Only 12 weeks old, and already so accomplished.

This morning...

It's 8:34 am and Mia is fast asleep in my bed :-)

Early this morning...

Mommy and Mia like to sleep with their arms on their heads. It was COLD last night (60s) hence the extra blankie and baby mittens. Note the Rudolph redness around my nose. I have a cold :-( I put nipple cream around it to soothe and moisturize and it worked a treat!

Somebody's all smiles lately! I managed to catch these images with my phone, but will try and take a video when the batteries are charged for the camera. Cute!

Notice in the 2nd photo, Mia is sporting "puff sleeves" just like her Tia Maria likes to wear.

Christmas preparations

I finally got some decorating done while Mia slept soundly...

The snowman crew now graces the tv stand...

...and stockings of all sizes and colors are hung everywhere.

The tree comes next. I've only gotten as far as attaching the pole to the stand hehe.
