My belly was feeling extra "poufy" so I had to get peanut's dad to take some photos for me...Aha yep, it's starting to pop out a little. Thank goodness peanut's auntie in Miami is getting me some maternity clothes. My jeans are starting to get tight at the waist.
Wow, this photo makes it look REALLY rotund! You can also see how my hips are widening (insert big sad face here). Is that the preggy line emerging as well? (Linea Nigra?) Ah well, I still fit in my regular size jeans, but they're mostly low rise, so they don't press too much on peanut. I bet you that I'll need to switch to comfy maternity ones in less than a month though.
And lastly, here's peanut's dad and the 2 fur kids, Techie (being kissed) and Izzy waiting on her turn. I wonder how they'll like the peanut. They're both really gentle, but you never know. I'll watch them like a hawk. Aww, I'm so glad my baby will know Techie. That dog has been the love of my life, my fuzzy companion for the last 7 years, comforting me when I'm sad and making me laugh with his silly antics. The preggy hormones in the early weeks of pregnancy were making me cry when I would think that I only have another 5 - 7 years left with my Techie...but I'm soooo glad my peanut will remember him! Ok let me stop or I'll get sniffy again :-)Next Dr. visit and scan is on the 15th August!! Woo! Oh and I'm getting bloodtests etc. on Tuesday...wonder if I'm anemic...shame they dont have a test for "nutty", because that would be positive!

Very Happy for you nik....You seem really happy and you know that glow that people talk about?????? you have it, you are already so cheery but now its like 100% more and who wouldn't be????
