Weigh-in #1

Luckily, the weight has been dropping off quite easily, but it's still early days and I'm sure it will start to slow down soon. I was 185lb just before birth and am now between 163-165 two weeks later. I already have to stop wearing most maternity pants since the waists and belly areas are too big, but my hips and thighs are still nice and chunky. I'll have to dig out my regular "fat" clothes this weekend.

Mia complains before burping

Sounds like a fart, but I felt the hurricane come from her mouth :-) She grumbles like that almost every time I burp her. I notice she has some little white spots very far back on her tongue. I hope it's not thrush, or else my boobies will have it too! Ay ay ay.

Morning fun while daddy sleeps

Just a note: we tried to register baby TWICE. The first time, the Government office didn't have the "book" that they needed because it was in Belize City (?) and the second time, the clerk pointed out that Dr. Raju forgot to stamp the birth record. Sooooo, we have to wait till the end of October to get poor Mia's birth certificate because both doctors are in I N D I A!!! LOL

Papa Bear sleeping in the background, while Gummy Bear waves at the camera...

Maaaaaa! I want food! Why does she always have that phone camera in my face!?

Morning burping

The day I remember to record Mia being burped is the day she falls asleep and doesn't make her signature grumbling noises. It's okay, she's still totally cute.

Pdaddy when he was a BehBeh

Mia's face isn't as round as Jaime's, and her lips and smile are different too, but there is a definite resemblance!
